The Pillsbury's Ghost and Pumpkin Shape Cookie Dough are back in stores! Easy and such nostalgic recipe for most delicious ice cream cookie bars 🥹
You will need:
2 of 8" square pans
Parchment paper
2 Ghost Shape Cookie Dough
2 Pumpkin Shape Cookie Dough
2 cups of your favorite ice cream, softened at room temperature
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 F. Tightly arrange and alternate the cookie dough in 2 of the parchment paper lined square baking pans. Bake on the middle rack for 11 (I like mine on a softer side) to 13 minutes (for more well-done, crispier cookies). Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to fully cool to room temperature in the baking pans.
Without removing one layer of the baked cookie dough sheet from the pan, scoop in the soft ice cream on top of the cookie, smooth and straighten the ice cream with small offset spatula. Cover with a second sheet of the baked cookie. Place into the freezer to set. Remove from the freezer, slide out the set ice cream sandwich from the pan using the parchment paper as "handles" , slice and enjoy! 👻🎃
